Builders Safety
Safety is a major priority on every project we deliver, for our workers and the public alike.
People are our most important asset
At iBuild Queensland, our Builders Safety Policy is based on a belief that the well-being of people employed at work, or affected by our work, is a major priority that must be considered on every job. Whether it’s a renovation project or a designer home, we take safety seriously — and the public is given equal priority to our workers.

What our Builders Safety Policy achieves
- Comply with relevant state legislation, local council requirements, codes of practice, standards and guidelines
- Develop measurable objectives and targets to help eliminate workplace incidents
- Develop a system in line with AS/NZS 4801
Work health and safety, at every level
- An integral part of every managerial and supervisory decision
- Considered in all planning and work activities
- Regular consultation with the workforce and relevant stakeholders
- Ongoing education and training programs for optimum safety understanding
- Hazard identification and risk analysis across all work processes
- All incidents reported, investigated, controlled — with prevention strategies implemented
- Effective injury management and rehabilitation for all workers
- Continual review against current legislation and AS4801 requirements
iBuild Queensland provides the time and resources necessary to implement this policy, and continually reviews its objectives, targets, plans and procedures to improve workplace safety and health.
